Houses and shops were decorated on both sides of it. The official name of Train Street is Ngo 224 Duan. It is located between Le Duan and Kham Tien Treat.Train Street’s popularity boomed in the late 1990s. Gradually this street became a must visit place in the capital city of Hanoi. It is a unique experience for the tourists to see the train passing a few inches away from the houses and shops and take pictures of it.

CNN included Hanoi’s Train Street in the Top-10 World Tourist Attractions 2023 list along with Japan’s Edo-Tokyo Museum and Singapore’s Jurong Bird Park which you can’t see now. The Vietnamese government has put up barriers on the tracks along with canceling the licenses of Train Street shops.
